This project initiated with the launch of a new production line for electric models at <\/span>FCA’s historic Mirafiori factory<\/span><\/a>, integrating theCOMAUrobots for the first time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This robot utilized electrical energy for assembling and welding front, rear, and side parts of a car.<\/span><\/p>\n

Comau has equipped each robot with a comprehensive set of equipment that can effectively perform all the special processes required for electric vehicles, from custom-designed handling systems and accessories to special 3D printed end effectors for moving car parts.<\/span>
