To facilitate the change in stopping distance, the robot cell designed by specialists is often too large to allow additional movement when the robot stops, making inefficient use of space.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">RobotStudio with its new skill uses ABB&#8217;s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/new.abb.com\/motion\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">excellent motion control technology<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to predict the robot&#8217;s motion more accurately. In this way, the precise movement of the robot can be simulated, so that the user can pinpoint the correct size of the required safety area and the ideal position of the function, including optical safety mechanisms, guardrails and controller.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">RobotStudio\u2019s Precision Feature and Its Uses<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Robot position data can be used to size specific areas by slowing down or stopping, depending on the operator&#8217;s location.
