FANUC has received another major order of <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">mechanical robots<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the field of electric portability, scheduled to ship in 2022; the organization will supply Ford&#8217;s Cologne plant with some 500 robots to assist in the development of electric vehicle bodies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Portage&#8217;s Cologne manufacturing plant is becoming the Ford Cologne Electrification Center, a center for the creation and improvement of electric vehicles that will serve the entire European market. In 2023, the automaker expects its first high-volume, unadulterated electric model to roll off the plant&#8217;s build line. In addition, Portage has stated that it will only offer battery-electric travel vehicles in Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;FANUC has a strong involvement with advanced mechanics for electrical portability applications,&#8221; says Ralf Winkelmann, Supervisory Officer, FANUC Germany. &#8220;We are exceptionally pleased to have the option to accompany Ford in this change of the future.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Established in Japan, FANUC works in more than 100 nations around the world, offering customers from a wide range of companies particularly strong customer support around the world. &#8220;In the United States, FANUC has been working closely with Ford for a long time,&#8221; says Winkelmann. &#8220;We are currently extending this fruitful collaboration to Europe.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shinichi Tanzawa, CEO and leader of FANUC Europe Corporation, is also pleased with this reformist joint effort in the field of electrical versatility: &#8220;Our robots are known for their unwavering quality and strength.
