The <a href=\"https:\/\/usedrobotstrade.com\/products\/kuka-2\">KR Fortec<\/a> ultra family, prepared for high payloads and moments of inertia, has set new benchmarks in the heavy payload range from 480 kg to 800 kg.<\/p>\n<p>Each of the five robot variants of Kuka&#8217;s new KR Fortec ultra series is suitable for a different application. For example, the KR 800 can handle payloads of up to 800 kg. The two variants of the KR 480 have a maximum height of 3,700 mm. The maximum permissible mass moment of inertia with extended grippers increases considerably with the high-inertia variants of the KR 640 and KR 560.<\/p>\n<p>In this payload class, the payload\/weight ratio of the <a href=\"https:\/\/usedrobotstrade.com\/products\/kuka-2\">KR FORTEC<\/a> extreme line is unparalleled. It weighs 2.4 t with a payload capacity of 800 kg and 2.2 t with a payload capacity of 640 kg.<\/p>\n<p>With a dual-link arm that increases rigidity and precision while reducing weight, the KR Fortec ultra robot series achieves superior dynamic performance, ideal cycle times, lower energy consumption and a smaller carbon footprint.<\/p>\n<p>Kuka portfolio manager Wolfgang Bildl says: &#8220;In close cooperation with our customers, we have created the new KR Fortec ultra robot family.<br \/>\nWith larger vehicles, massive batteries and huge components for electric cars, they are our answer to the changing demands of the automotive industry.&#8221; Customers of other manufacturers have to make do with robots in the next higher payload class, which are considerably heavier and more expensive to buy and maintain, to cover a payload range of 800 kg and high mass moments of inertia.<\/p>\n<p>With great accessibility to components and easy maintenance and repair, the KR Fortec ultra robot series meets customers&#8217; maintenance needs. Oil changes, visual inspections and lubrication of the cable and bearing assembly of the counterweight system are the modes of maintenance.<\/p>\n<p>The machine can be used in limited cells thanks to its streamlined and disruptive contour, larger working area at the front, top and rear, and small footprint, but it also opens the door to completely new cell designs.<\/p>\n<p>These issues are solved with the new KR Fortec ultra family, which features an exceptional power-to-weight ratio.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/usedrobotstrade.com\/products\/kuka-2\">Kuka<\/a> says customers can enjoy minimal spare parts costs and excellent availability thanks to the &#8220;very high mean time before failure&#8221; of up to 400,000 hours.<\/p>\n<p>The payload capacity and mass inertia of the <a href=\"https:\/\/usedrobotstrade.com\/products\/kuka-2\">KR FORTEC ultra robot family<\/a> can be changed and modified whenever necessary to accommodate new functions.
