Robot details

The ABB 6400 is built to allow short and accurate number of rotations, swift exchange and constant high precision. The machine is a combination of IRB 6400 manipulator and the S4C robot controller enabling it with a variety of advanced communication capabilities including advanced software. It is also equipped with the Ethernet channels to provide easier service and factory networking and RAPID directives for sophisticated programming capabilities hence making the robot more powerful and easy to control for a wide range of functions.     

The robot is intended to be able to adapt in any working area provided. For example, first, it has a small obstruction radius to allow for easy installations especially where there is heavy production equipment. Secondly, its procedural media which is incorporated through the robot’s base is easy to exchange with most parts taking less that 30 minutes. Lastly, the robot can be regulated and adjusted one axis at a time to ensure a quick return to full production.
