Robot details
This is a robot suitable for press transfer and unloading of machines from an elevated position. It is a shelf edition of the famous 6400 equipped with the modern S4CPlus controller which is combined with the six-axis IRB 6400 manipulator to offer quick and accurate cycle times with rapid change-overs and consistent high precision.
Like all other 6400 robots, the IRB 6400 shelf also consists of several arms with different sizes which are controlled by the new tech software for dynamic control function. This includes QuickMove which allows quick movements, high accuracy and rapidity over the machines total working area.
The S4Cplus controller enables the machine to have superior motion control. The S4Cplus is characterized by a dynamic based control, QuickMove for short rotation times, and the TrueMove function for high accuracy movements. As a result, the robot is able to independently work at high speed. The S4CPlus is then combined with the RAPID programming language making it more powerful and easy to control for a broad variety of functions.
The robot has got two built in Ethernet channels to provide easier service and factory networking. These include field bus and PLC serial channels together with PC connections. The controller supports a wide range of functions and tasks. These software help in simplifying control of the robot and effortless monitoring of its functions
