KUKA KR 150-2 on track
Robot details
This heavy payload robot, operates on KL1500 7 axis linear track of 2000 mm to 15000 mm lengths and is suitable for spot welding, measuring, handling, palletizing and machining. It is available in three versions depending on the preferred arm reach; that is KR 150-2 (2700 mm /150 kg), KR 150L130-2 (2900 mm / 130 kg), KR 150L110-2 (3100 mm / 110 kg). They have a repeatability of 0.1 mm.
All these utilise KR C2 controller which is provided on a Microsoft Windows interface. This makes programming easier, flexible and fast which is further enhanced by ready made packages. It is also expandable with 2 free slots provided for external axes. Integration with networks is made possible by provision of Ethernet slots for common bus systems including: INTERBUS, PROFIBUS and DeviceNet.
Apart from remote diagnosis, data back up through Floppy and CD-ROM facilitates error identification. The robot also has motion profile function to enhance interaction between individual motors and their velocity. The KUKA control panel is ergonomic and compact enough.
