This powerful robot can handle maximum loads of 500 kg with 0.08 mm repeatability. It is the strongest in the KR360-KR500 line yet it retains a small foot print same as KR 360. With the ability to be mounted on both wall and floor, it is suitable for point to point and continuous path tasks. 

KR 500-2 exists in three versions according to arm reach and payload combination. They utilise KR C2ed2005 controller which is assembled with standard PC components and meets variety of customisation options for various uses. Software packages for common tasks are also available to save time on such applications.

Options for expansion include availability of two extra slots within the basic cabinet for external axes. An additional top mount cabinet can be included to support up to 6 more axes. Communication between robots in a system is highly enhanced in order to give high coordination results and minimise errors.  The controller is also simple to maintain due to accessibility and interchange ability of parts.

Online servicing, monitoring and trouble shooting is also a main feature while data back up through CDs and floppy disks is provided for to enhance streamlining of the system components. All these enhance safety and increase reliability thus ensuring maintenance of high production.
