The  KR 200 is widely used in the automotive industry for heavy job applications. This robot is identical to the KR150/2, it can be equipped with the  KR C2 or Krc1 controller under windows interface thus providing a friendlier interface for programming tasks. The mechanical unit of this robot is very strong and resistant that why it is widely used for spot welding application. The system also has ready made application software to facilitate common tasks therefore is better placed at time saving. Other robot models with identical features include KUKA -  KR200/ 2 or  KUKA  210 series 2000
