The KRC1 controller works on a Windows 95 operating system. A good graphical user interface provided plus software packages facilitate programming tasks while the KUKA control panel has multiple ergonomics. It has an integrated oscilloscope to improve programming and diagnosis.
The KRC1 system has an open networking capability provided by interaction protocols including CAN/DeviceNet and Ethernet. In addition, data back up through CD-ROM and floppy disk drives are provided for. Motion profile function enables interaction between individual motors and their velocity while master/ slave option is also provided.
