The ALO3 ( adaptive laser processing optics) is a laser processing heand with an integrated seam tracking feature that uses a filler wire and a CW laser in the 900-1800nm wavelength range. This patented tectile seam-tracking process maker it possible for the ALO3 to find precisely the beginning of the weld seam and guide the process reliably along the seam. This facilitates automatic compensation to counteract component tolerances. This autonomous seam-tracking system can be integrated into any master machine. It can then be controlled using digit inputs and outputs or via most Fieldbus networks.
