The Motoman PX1850 provides the best industrial and automotive coating solution for various conditions. It is Factory Mutual (FM) certified for use in hazardous environment. This equipment is relatively small in design yet very big in terms of what it can do.
Users can choose between a three-roll and Lemma style wrist depending on the region of application. The latter is good for vertical and horizontal painting on flat surfaces while three-roll design works better with contoured interior and exterior.
This robot has a payload of 10kg and 1835 mm reach. It can be mounted on walls, ceilings or trucks with much ease due to its small footprint. Together with the flexible design, accuracy and desirable repeatability of 0.5 mm is maintained hence enhancing productivity.
High end INFORM II programming language used in the advanced XRC 2001- FM controller makes programming less time consuming. Specialised coating application software are also included within this system to provide highest perfection.
The programmer can chose between two types of pendants depending on the conditions. The standard model is appropriate for non explosive applications while a much safely designed type is meant for hazardous usage. The XRC 2001- FM reduces over spraying and co-ordinates operation of devices.
Communications with external networks can also be easily established through various protocols. Popular systems like DeviceNet, ControlNet, Profibus-DP and Interbus-S are available hence facilitating compatibility with various related products in market.
