Motoman UP165 robot is equipped with a powerful XRC controller which makes it well suited for press tending, loading and unloading, machining and other industrial usage. The high speed and   versatility of this equipment gives it an edge over other robots in the market. These combined with the unmatched strength makes it excellent for welding and payload handling. 

One feature that anyone would not fail to notice in this machine is its long reach. The more than 2650 extension together with six axes enable the machine to comfortably cover both front and back hence tools and welding equipment at near and far ends can easily be picked and replaced. The robot has a maximum weight of 165 kg. Some of these unique designs are patented and therefore are only available in Motoman's brands.     

The award winning XRC controller is is very flexible and compatible with communication systems. It also guarantees high performance and can do up to six tasks at the same time; yet it retains simplicity and ergonomy. Having Advanced Robot Motion software, the machine operates with high path accuracy, detect collisions and adjust appropriately. Programming is also made more user friendly with the light weight, ergonomically designed pendant.

Motoman XRC cabinet also has adequate space for mounting of expanded I/O, external axis control, sensors or ethernet boards. In case double or triple triple systems are required, a tidy cable connection can still be maintained by adding other boxes either on top or the sides of control cabinet. These are usually compact since their height is only 900mm.
