The ABB 2400 M96 is equipped with a new concept referred to as the S4C controller. The controller enables the application of RAPID instructions making its programming easy to manipulate. The robot is characterized by an arc welding model with a reach of up to 1.8 meters, 7 kg load capacity, a large working area, a slim arm and wrist and inverted mounting capability.
Consequently, this results to increased production rates and faster delivery for manufactured products. Being the best machine amongst its other versions which can handle weight of up to 16 kg at 1.5 – 1.8 mtrs reach, exceptional movement control, large load counterbalance and unlimited motion. The IRB 2400 gives the buyer outstanding performance in items handling, tending and processing functions.
Its design allows ease during installation while its strong body and use of parts contribute to its high reliability and long intervals between maintenance.
