Have your medium payload applications done in a timely and efficient manner be it arc welding, machining or loading/ unloading. The KR 16- 2 is a compact yet very powerful robot with wide work envelope.
It has 6 axes of which the first three highly optimised to increase speed. These together with a 2033 mm arm enhance access to tools both far and near. Synchronisation options enable more than one robot to work together as a single piece.
Equipped with the 2005 edition of KR C2, a user is provided with the best interface using standard PC components which accept settings according to individual preferences. The software is also more reliable and has derived a lot from recent technology.
While all efforts have been put to minimise breakdown, maintenance of the controller is easy as standard components are used which are available and easily replaceable. Trouble shooting functions such as remote monitoring and back up through floppy and CD-ROM drives are also availed.
In addition, the system accepts easy expansion through provision of two slots for external axes within the basic cabinet together with the allowance for additional cabinets. This allows management of up to 6 external axes. KR- 16-2 is also fully with safety options thus optimising reliability and productivity. Additional features such as "plug and play" allow rapid start up.
