The industrial robot Kr125/150/200 is widely used in the automotive industry. This robot is highly identical to KR125/2 and KR150/2 except that it is reequipped with KR C2 controller under windows interface thus providing a friendlier interface for programming tasks. The system also has ready made application software to facilitate common tasks therefore is better placed at time saving. It can make a good choice for your heavy payload applications. It can easily bear loads ranging from 90 to 150 kg with an impressive repeatability of 0.2 mm.

The robot can easily be integrated into other networks. Apart from availing two slots in the control panel for anchoring of external axes, it also allows a clean connection for six more axes through an additional cabinet. For communication networks, common bus systems such as INTERBUS, PROFIBUS and DeviceNet make that possible. Motion profile function is also available to enhance interaction between each motor and its velocity.  

Remote monitoring and servicing is a main feature of the KR C2. The use of standard interaction protocols plus additional features helps to keep the system functional. Operational data is also backed up in CDs and floppy disks which can help in error identification. In addition, the KUKA controller components are highly interchangeable thereby facilitating acquisition whenever there is need for replacement.
