KUKA KR15/2 - Manufacturing industries benefit from the short cycle time, high accuracy and  versatile nature of this robot. The system is powered by KR C2 controller, version 4.1.4. A friendly Microsoft windows interface together with the hardware facilitates programming tasks while easing expansion. Through common bus systems for instance, communication with external networks can be achieved. To facilitate tasks, it ready made packages software packages are also provided.

Maintenance and servicing of the system can be done via online means. This is made more efficient through data back up capability in CDs and floppy disks. Another robot with similar feature is ABB - IRB 2400 M2000
