With a wide range of flexibility ranging from numerous mounting options, to expansion, to connectivity, the KR 16 makes an indispensable workplace companion. The anchoring can be done on the ceiling, wall or floor without compromising on work envelope and reliability.
This robot has 1610 mm arm reach with payload of 16 kg. Its six-axes achieve maximum rotation at high speed thereby reducing cycle time. All these together with a good accuracy of 0.05 mm enable work to be done to satisfaction. Profile function is also integrated to facilitate interaction between motors and their velocity.
The controller for this machine is KR C2. Based on windows XP interface together with available software packages, it provides a good interface for programming functions. Expansion is also possible with availability of two extra slots for external axes.
The system is also integrated into networks via DeviceNet and Ethernet slots for common bus systems. This enables remote monitoring while floppy disk and CD-ROM options are availed for data back up. This is definitely a good machine for assembling, handling, loading and unloading of parts.
