Where a robot's reach matters most, the KR30L15/2 takes credit for its high convenience. Its six axes, slim body and arm reach of 3086 mm enables it to cover a large working envelope while minimising dead space. The robot can be mounted either on wall or ceiling and is highly suited for point to point and continuous path controlled applications for loads of up to 15 kg.
Equipped with version 4.1.4 of KR C2 controller, the machine is friendly enough to any programmer since it is anchored on Microsoft windows interface. The open PC technology also makes it highly compatible with other systems. For instance, two extra slots are provided within the basic cabinet to support external axes. This can be further expanded to 6 axes through an additional cabinet. The robot has a motion profile function to streamline interaction between each motor and its velocity.
Common bus systems including INTERBUS, PROFIBUS and DeviceNet provide a reliable online operation. Through these, tasks such as troubleshooting and servicing can be done remotely. Operational data backed up in CDs and Floppy disks are also crucial for servicing purposes. All these make KR30L15/2 with a repeatability of 0.15 mm suitable for all your laser cutting, handling, loading/ unloading, painting and welding needs.
