Robot details

HP20 robot was made in 2006 model. It is compact, yet huge in terms of performance. Only a small installation space is required due to its slim base, waist and arms. This design also allows the robot to be placed nearest to fixtures hence facilitating access. Its six axes offer more than 500 degrees rotation.

The machine can perform various tasks including but not limited to: polishing, arc welding and handling of parts. Its 1717 mm reach appropriately offers a wide work envelope thus enabling access and placement of tools at the relatively long distance. Weights of up to 20 kg can be comfortably borne by the system.

Equipped with the latest NX100 controller, a user friendly PC based interface is provided which facilitates programming procedures. The windows based programming pendant has a full colour LCD touch display which is customised according to the wish of the operator. In addition, up to 60000 steps and 10000 instructions can be stored and retrieved seamlessly hence saving on programming time.  Users can therefore have an easy time interacting with the system.

The system has ability to perform numerous tasks simultaneously. This is even more enhanced by the provision for integration of up to four robots plus their external axes which can be operated from a single central processing unit.  Communication with other infrastructures is also effectively enhanced with provisions for different interaction protocols including DeviceNET, ethernet and others. Fifteen different products existing in the market can also be supported by the available field bus support features.
