The Motoman's UP20 is very useful when it comes to space economisation. To anybody who wants the best handling, dispensing, packaging and cutting experience, this is what to go for. Its 1658 mm reach enables the machine to cover a wide work envelope. The robot has a 20kg payload.

Featuring a very slim arm, base and body design, the machine can be placed closest possible to work piece holders for the best access to work spots. Having built in collision avoidance features, they allow for a connection of up to four robots while retaining the least space coverage.

The machines are integrated with the modern Motoman XRC controller which is renowned for consistency in versatility and high productivity. It is also compact enough and has won awards for the unmatched ergonomy.  

With its open communication, a combination of up to three robots making up 27 axes (six within each robot and the external ones) can be controlled from a single CPU. These can also multi task and perform up to six functions simultaneously. Collision detection and path accuracy are retained with the help of Advanced Robot Motion Control (ARM) software. Users also find an easy time when operating with the programming pendant. Apart from its simplified relay structure, it is also lightweight and user friendly.
