Despite being 30% lighter than the UR20 model, the UR8 Long maintains full strength and stability. Its streamlined build makes it ideal for mounting on rails, elevated structures, or overhead systems where both space and weight are limited.
The UR8 Long runs on PolyScope 5 and PolyScope X platforms and integrates the new MotionPlus technology, enabling seamless coordination with linear axes and external devices such as rotary tables. Its enhanced freedrive mode allows intuitive reprogramming of the arm without the need for additional hardware.
This cobot is perfectly suited for a range of industrial applications. In collaborative welding, it executes long welds with precise path control, improving quality and reducing rework. For bin picking of delicate parts, it can reach deep into containers without requiring physical repositioning.
