It calls it the Sparrow robot, a new intelligent robotic device that speeds up the fulfilment process by moving individual products before they are packed, an important step towards cutting-edge technology and helping our workers.

Sparrow is the first robot in Amazon’s warehouses capable of recognising, picking and handling specific products in its inventory, and the company claims that Sparrow “significantly increases item handling in our operations”.
