THE NEW COBOTS FOR VERSATILE PRODUCTION DTP SERIES

HC10DTP and HC20DTP are the two new six-axis collaborative robotic arms for applications such as assembly, dispensing, machine maintenance, material handling, packaging and welding. Designed by Yaskawa Motoman.
Each robot has four modes of collaborative operation and can switch between collaborative speed in PFL mode and maximum speed in industrial mode, meeting established safety requirements (ISO 13849-1) and conforming to ISO TS15066.
Power and Force Limiting (PFL) technology is used in the HC10DTP and HC20DTP clampless designs to control force and react to touch and a through arm Category 6 Ethernet cable, I/O cable and air lines twins integrate a multitude of communication options for tools.
These robots are IP67 rated and designed for use in wet or splash-prone areas. NSF H1 certified food grade grease is provided as standard, allowing it to be used in environments where there is a possibility of incidental food contact.
The HC10DTP has a payload capacity of 10kg, a maximum reach of 1379mm, an effective reach of 1200mm and a repeatability of 0.05mm.
The HC20DTP has a payload capacity of 20kg, a maximum reach of 1900mm, an effective reach of 1700mm and a repeatability of 0.05mm.
Both robots, according to Yaskawa, are controlled by the high-performance YRC1000 controller, which is built to a world standard and does not require a transformer for input voltages ranging from 380VAC to 480VAC. The YRC1000 employs a standard lightweight teaching pendant with easy programming in an extremely compact cabinet (598 W x 490 H x 427 D mm). As an alternative, the Smart Pendant with patented Smart Frame technology is offered.
