MHP45L – The Basics
The Yaskawa Motoman MHP45L has been designed for industrial handling.
It has a 45 kg payload capacity, a maximum reach of 2,850 mm, horizontal reach of 2,850 mm, a vertical reach of 5,095 mm and repeatability of ± 0.07 mm to treat multiple parts in various sizes with volatile paints.
It provides a wide range of motion and can handle large workpieces while preventing clogging with painting robots and other external equipment. The Yaskawa Motoman MHP45L 6-axis robot has been certified by Factory Mutual (FM) for Class 1, Division 1 use in hazardous environments.
MHP45L – Advantages
By installing this high-speed handling robot on the painting line, an area can be designed compactly. Space is saved on the painting line, and special equipment isn’t required to move it.

MHP45L – Versatility
The MHP45L by Yaskawa Motoman boasts great versatility in its mounting positions. For extension, 8/4 manual air hose ports (φ10 × 2, φ6 × 2) and 6 LS wire cores are available on the side of the upper arm cover.
The MHP45L robot powered by the DX200-FM controller is also approved for use in hazardous environments and is available with a category 3 performance level d (PLd) functional safety unit (FSU).
