FORD PLANT WILL BENEFIT FROM FANUC ROBOTS

FANUC will supply Ford’s Cologne plant with some 500 industrial robots to assist in the development of electric vehicle bodies. FANUC has received another major order of mechanical robots in the field of electric portability, scheduled to ship in 2022; the organization will supply Ford’s Cologne plant with some 500 robots to assist in the development of electric vehicle bodies.

Portage’s Cologne manufacturing plant is becoming the Ford Cologne Electrification Center, a center for the creation and improvement of electric vehicles that will serve the entire European market. In 2023, the automaker expects its first high-volume, unadulterated electric model to roll off the plant’s build line.
