YASKAWA MOTOMAN GP70L MULTI-PURPOSE ROBOT

It is characterised by its “high speed and handling of large and heavy payloads”.
The Yaskawa Motoman GP70L extended reach robot is highly adaptable and provides fast and robust performance for a variety of applications. This model is suitable for logistics processes, such as palletising and depalletising, because of its reach, speed and payload capacity. Applications are supported including loading and unloading of components from a CNC machine, as well as applications for dispensing, material handling, press tending and machine tending.
4715 mm vertical reach, 2732 mm horizontal reach and 0.05 mm repeatability are all features of the six-axis GP70L. A 70 kg payload provides a wide variety of tools and sensors to meet the requirements of many types of applications.
Large and heavy payloads can be handled thanks to high moment of inertia ratings, which also enable fast axis speeds and acceleration capabilities that reduce cycle times for increased throughput. A wide range of wrist movement avoids potential interference with fixtures to improve application flexibility, while a minimised interference design makes it easy to place robots in close proximity for high-density work cells and facilitates access to parts in tight spaces.
Installation is simple and quick. The manipulator and controller are connected by a single cable, simplifying setup and reducing maintenance and spare parts inventory costs. Fieldbus routing through the S-axis is facilitated by a cable installation tube.
IP67 wrist and IP54 body standards allow the GP70L to be floor mounted. No transformer is required for input voltages ranging from 380 VAC to 480 VAC because it is regulated by the YRC1000 controller, which is built to international standards. The YRC1000 uses a lightweight portable console with simple programming and a very compact enclosure (598 W x 490 H x 427 D mm).
